Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. The actress has won praise for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired by her upbringing within an New York family of artists. She began working as a photographer's assistant, and then turned to modeling and acting. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actor. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide and also an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases she received the title of top female box-office debut in the world. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
