Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast is considered to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. In the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games and was also the first gymnast to win three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles as well as their younger sibling Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman, when she was 6 years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles has won gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise prior to her first appearance in 2011 in the elite category of the competition. In less than two years, she dominated the sport. Her consistency, her vivacious personality and the level of effort in her four events -vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- set her apart.
