Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British artist and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her irresistible electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the ability to compose catchy, but deeply honest songs place her in the forefront of modern mainstream music, in addition to arty and independent pop. Polydor Records, a major music label, signed Goulding and was preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
