
Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born October 1st 1989) who is also known as Brie Larson is an American actress. In her teen years she was well-known for her supporting roles in comedies. Her career has taken her to be a leading actress in blockbuster films and independent films. Larson has been awarded several awards which include an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as the Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named Larson one of the top 100 influential persons in the world in the year 2019. Larson, who was at the age of six, was the youngest student to enroll in a program of training at the American Conservatory Theater. She began her career as an actor with The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 1998, which was the sketch comedy. In 2001, she appeared as the main character in the show Raising Dad. She also briefly considered pursuing a career in music, with the release of the album Finally Out Of P.E. in 2005. Larson was later seen in part in supporting roles in the comedy films Hoot (2006) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and 21 Jump Street (2012), and appeared as a sardonic teenager in the tv series United States of Tara (2009-2011).Her breakthrough was when she landed a lead role in the acclaimed independent drama Short Term 12 (2013) in which she would take on supporting parts in the romantic comedy The Spectacular Now (2013) and the comedy Trainwreck (2015). For her role as a kidnap victim in the drama Room (2015), Larson received the Academy Award for Best Actress. After the 2017 adventure film Kong. Skull Island, Larson was the debut big-budget release. In 2019, she was Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
